About Lacuna Tours
The newest and most exciting way to spend a day on the water! Captain Bobby Alcott, originally from New Hampshire, brings his charter boating experince to the Palm Beaches and Jupiter in 2011. Featuring custom boat tours on the intracoastal waterways to Jupiter Island, Jupiter lighthouse, Peanut Island and more! He arrives on the tour scene via a very interesting path.
After graduating from U.N.H., he worked as a professional ski instructor in Lake Tahoe, Park City and Sun Valley. He later spent several years working in medical research and as a department head in film production.
In 2003 he took his sailboat, Rumbaba, to the Virgin Islands to pursue his dream of being a Charter Captain in the Carribean (see his many stellar reviews on tripadvisor and cruisecritic). Today you can enjoy the same great charters he has become legendary for. "Perfect after a round of golf or a morning of fishing! He's a fun Captian, serving great food and drinks, on a beautiful boat, while sharing local history and his interesting tales. This day of boating is not to be missed! "
